TurnKey cancelled our reservation but will not refund the thousands of dollars paid in advance

We did NOT get what we paid for… if you plan on staying at this house, bring your own towels, washcloths and washing machine. You should also pack a toolbox to be able to open the house door to be able to use the hot tub. The house cleaning did not finish until 4:30 the day of our arrival. As the cleaning team left the premises, they informed us that the washing machine was not working. Our party of 6 adults were provided 5 bath towels and 5 hand towels for a 5 night stay (and no way to wash anything). After 3 days and probably 10 phone calls – the local management finally provided additional bath towels and hand towels – but still no washcloths. In addition, repeated promises by Turnkey to arrange a service call to fix the washing machine never materialized. So we had to use a local laundromat to wash our clothes… as we packed under the assumption of the house having a working washing machine. (Definitely not the vacation rental we had paid for)
The house door to the hot tub drags the frame; with a note on how to pry it open to gain access to the hot tub. Attempts to open the door failed as the door knob felt as if it would pull off the door if we pulled harder.
Final observation – the house is a bit tired.. little things like the shower drain cover not attached , the garage floor unswept, and the homeowner’s personal ‘baby stuff’ left out.
The views from the living room are amazing – the good point.

Never Again Using Turnkey

This was my our first and last time using Turnkey. We stayed May 5 thru 8. When arriving and checking things out, we noticed stains on sheets in Master bedroom. We notified them immediately and was told after a long wait they would get it taken care of the following day. REALLY. So instead of relaxing we were changing buying sheets changing beds because they refused to give another unit. Well with the stained sofa too it was already looking to be a bad start. We went to get our things to unload and then the door would not open. After finally opening we got in. I reported this as well and they would get somebody out the next day. The next day around 10pm I begin to get text messages saying there were noise complaints. We are playing family uno. Not loud but family game time. This went on getting multiple text messages. I finally called and asked what is the problem, who is complaining, well there is some sensor near the kitchen that does this. Wasn't told until I called. By this time we were just like forget it and went to hang on beach that night. Last the codes given for pool and exercise were switched. We spent a long period trying to get in the pool before another guess informed us of what the code was and we realized they had it wrong on our information. I asked for some type of credit, that was not given, the local person that called finally was no help. We have visited Deatin for over 15 years each year and NEVER had this experience. I do not recommend this company.

TurnKey is a rockstar

TurnKey rental management is a rock star. Excellent communication from start to finish. Terrific on site support aptly demonstrated when I locked myself out of my rental. Having this management company involved in your rental is a winning strategy.

Loved it!

I originally booked with Turnkey before I went over there reviews and needless to say, I was concerned after reading them. So when I recieved a call stating the place we booked was not going to be available due to construction I was worried. Turnkey made sure they found us an alternative option for our destination wedding. The place was clean and spacious with an additional mini apartment downstairs. Which was helpful because we were booked for 12 people. They have excellent customer service and quickly addressed any concerns we had durning our stay. Without them finding us another place to stay my wedding would have been a bust. Thanks for making my day the best ever.

Laid Back in Laguna

We can’t say enough great things about this house. The space was perfect for 4 adults (2 couples) and the bunk beds were larger than normal size and could have fit an adult on each bed. The kitchen is open and great for entertaining. The outdoor space is perfect to gather, grill out or take an afternoon nap. The garage was converted into a game/entertainment area which we enjoyed on the nights we stayed in. The walk to to beach was quick and easy with public access right down the street. The house was equipped with plenty of kitchen appliances, pots and pans, bowls, etc. we will certainly keep a look out for the availability of this house on our next trip to Laguna/Panama City Beach.

Weekend Getaway

Everything was good. However, I suggest providing a few cleaning supplies (trash bags, broom, dish soap etc...). House is very nice. Thank you for sharing it.

Customer service is absolutely terrible

Customer service is absolutely pathetic.
I have called them 8 times in 4 weeks trying to get a partial refund for issues at the property, and never once got a call back or any progress made. The just keep passing the buck around and wear your persistence down until you give up. Horrible company.

The representatives were quick with…

The representatives were quick with responding and solving any issues we had with out stay. They were very professional and helpful. I would go through them again. The one thing I would recommend is double checking with them that your stay offers late check out or check in. Apparently not all the houses offer it even though it is an option that is advertised and emailed to you.

Terrible company to do business with

Terrible company to do business with; gave us the run around and even blatantly lied on a google review response. Run away from TurnKey. Your “once in a lifetime” experience will not be of the positive kind...

We loved the condo!

If I could give a zero I would.
This is actually the worst company to work with when it comes to travel. There have been multiple problems with trips I have been on and booked with this company. The trip I had booked with this company was set to take place on March 19, 2020. Unfortunately, a pandemic had hit with no control to take the pandemic away. I even purchased travel insurance just in case something with a guest had happened. There were 15 of us traveling so the chances of something happening were high. When I called both TurnKey and the insurance company (iTravel) they gave me one year to use the trip as a credit to the site. The trip cost us 4,000$. The homeowners of the place canceled the trip due to the pandemic and travel restrictions. I am expecting my first child come March 2021, we also had 4 members of our group lose a family member due to the pandemic, finally, we have 2 doctors who are not allowed to travel due to restrictions and helping with COVID. December 12th call TurnKey to ask for a refund due to the pandemic, the woman on the phone I could barely hear and was ZERO help. Pretending to type on a computer and just give one-word answers that did not help. In my opinion, this is ABSURD that in the middle of a pandemic we are not allowed to travel, and a company is keeping our money. We as a country are trying to stop this spread of the virus, and this company seems to not care. I can proudly say I will NEVER use this company again, nor will I ever recommend it to anyone for travel.
